			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last month&#8217;s podcast regarding transitioning from a tactical to strategic organization received a number of emails.  However, one email was a from a CIO of a mid-sized, multi-facility institution that recently lost his job, because of all things&#8230;he was too focused to strategy.  After spending some time writing back and forth, I decided that I wanted to revisit the concepts we discussed last month, and briefly talk about how&#8230;although we strive to learn how to manage strategically, we cannot allow ourselves to lose sight of the tactical responsibilities that we carry with us.
